ARTIST STATEMENT

My watercolors are painted on 300lb Arches Hot Press watercolor paper. For the background I use a salt, alcohol and water technique which gives them a very unique textured appearance. I use many layers of watercolor paint to achieve a very strong graphic image for my main subject matter.

My approach to my paintings is highly stylized and gives a very contemporary look to my work.
